Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Let them splutter.
  3. Add diced potatoes and stir well.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on low heat until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
